One of the more satisfying events in the past year here at TGP has been the increasing awareness of the Dave Callahan's brilliance and his emergence as a major artist whose work blurs the lines between post-punk, folk and psychedelia while being its own thing entirely.
The albums 'English Primitive I' and 'English Primitive II' have been increasing in sales, and no wonder. There's nothing else quite like them - powerful, stark and haunting are apt adjectives which also convey a sort of baselessness. Yet anyone who knows Dave's work from C86 popsters The Wolfhounds through the experimental, krautrock-style experimentation of Moonshake.
The sessions which produced those two albums resulted in two songs which didn't seem to have a place between the others. So, despite the absurd expense of pressing 7" singles, we can find no other sensible way to make these two marvels accessible to fans who desire the physical product (they're also available digitally.) These are strictly limited and will only be sold only here through Bandcamp, so get 'em while you can.

Instantly found myself back in the Rezz calling for “twisting the knife” and getting abuse thrown back from the stage, oh the joy.
Hi Frank! PARRAMATTA
Hello Wolfhounds! I was wondering whether you ever toured France. If not, I should say it is high time that you do! Take care. Thanks for the music. jmdiana
